Drawing on Mierle Laderman Ukeles’ “Maintenance Art Manifesto” as well disability-informed process-based methodologies, I have been leaving pieces of folded black and white photographic paper in my kitchen sink, where they get covered in dishes, cups and forks, get dripped on, saturated with dishwater, as they record that whole day's detritus and minutiae. In the evening I photograph the lumen print right way before it begins to fade, and then enlarge and print it.
